Parent GradNation Community Summit

The Parent GradNation Summit is a part of a series of community conversations focused on improving high school graduation rates in Toledo, OH. This event is specifically focused for parents. Community leaders will be present and will offer information about the successful youth programs available as well as resources for parents and other family members. Speakers include: Dr. Romules Durant, superintendent of Toledo Public Schools, a student leader at Waite High School, Katie Enright, executive director of Aspire, and representatives from America’s Promise Alliance. Parents will also participate in table discussions focused what parents are experiencing, what challenges they are facing, and what they think is working. A powerful part of the evening is the opportunity to hear from a student who has faced these challenges and is succeeding.
